DREAMWalker author profile
Angie Thomas
A writer to know. A book to begin with.
Living American novelist raised in Jackson, Mississippi. Her official biography documents her writing and public work; it does not publish a birth date.
Angie Thomas writes about young people negotiating identity, community, and justice in places too often reduced to headlines. The Hate U Give follows Starr Carter across the boundary between home and school after she witnesses the killing of her friend.
