200 Beats Per Minute (1998)
"I decided I really wanted to reach people with this novel. I wanted them to feel the bass, and see the lights, but I also wanted it to be more than that. When you read 200 Beats, you're witnessing the maturation process in action; the maturation of Danny Boyle..and of myself, as a writer and a person." -- Eddie Beverage at Amazon.com
