About the author
Geoff Ryman is a Canadian-born novelist and short-story writer who has lived and worked in Britain for much of his career. Across science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, and more realist narratives, his books return to the ways communities shape what people believe is possible. Was reimagines the cultural afterlife of The Wizard of Oz; Lust, by contrast, is an intimate contemporary novel. Ryman has also explored online narrative with 253 and Cambodia’s history in The King’s Last Song.
