• The Man Who Would Be Queen: The Science of Gender-Bending and Transsexualism (2003) -- Finalist, 2003 Lambda Literary Award for Lambda Literary Awards for Transgender/Bisexual
  Controversial book on the subject.

[Note: This book was later removed from the award finalists for the 2003 Lambda Literary Awards. "The change was prompted by a request from the panel of judges that is reading all the finalists in the transgender category, which said the book was not appropriate for the category."  For the full statement by the Foundation, see http://www.lambdalit.org/Lammy/BaileyBook/Baileyaction.html.

Also, the Foundation provides additional resources regarding the book.  DREAMWalker Group has no opinion on this issue and leaves it up to the reader to decide whether or not to support this particular book.]
