When a pair of luckless New York writers gets lured to Hollywood and hits it big virtually overnight, mayhem on a grand scale ensues--a vortex of hilarity that encompasses everything from a Beverly Hills spa catering to stars' most secret needs to a blackmailing scheme that threatens to disrupt the Oscars. This enormously entertaining, exuberantly naughty novel sends up Hollywood pretense higher than it's ever been sent before.
