"Starting out as a cowgirl, morphing into a
Goth, then slipping into hippydom - Shawn Clements finally
landed in the freak capital of Texas and stayed there. Sharing a
home with her two partners, their four dogs, eight computers and
her daughter, Shawn has spent the last five years helping to
grow Torquere Press, Inc. to a thriving publisher with hundreds
of GLBT romance books in their catalog. She is proud to
introduce Prizm Books,
a line of GLBT young adult books, coming this summer. Shawn also
writes as BA Tortuga, spending most of her writing time rubbing
cowboys, cowgirls, and rednecks of every type together just to
see what sparks. " --
