The Faithwalker Series
The legacy from the Tree of Life as passed down through
generations to the unknown ...
Call of the Tree (2007)
Today's political and religious strife have torn our
world apart but the new country with no name vowed to punish and stamp out
anyone holding the ‘old’ ways that caused the world’s destruction. But
one-hundred years later, teenagers Stephanie and Vaughn can’t help
challenging everything about their corrupt surroundings, unaware that they
are involved in a plot that extends far beyond their little town, their
country with no name, and even the world as they know it.
Stephanie sees transparent gray arms reaching inside people’s heads and
Vaughn’s vision of a blackness blowing people up from the inside-out
leaves him wondering.
What is a faithwalker? Potentially the most powerful person alive --
Earth’s only hope against the coming evils, that is, if they survive the
terrible hardships into which they are always born.
Faith in ones abilities, faith in a mere goodness beyond, faith in a
friend… they will need all of that and more to keep from dying.
The Sacrificial Wood (2008)
Seemingly trapped forever with everything raging against Vaughn, crushing
his spirit, his anger steadily grows. Faced with the decision to allow
himself to be utterly debased and survive, or fight and die, he chooses to
fight.
Stephanie is no better off as she sits upon the edge of the sword
that is her father. A sword set to destroy all she ever loved, including
her own newfound self-respect.
But Arlupo enters Stephanie's life with a
special unknown presence. And this sixteen year old girl must match wits
against Stephanie's misogynistic father in a battle that must be fought
for life itself. Only Arlupo knows the truth about Stephanie, what she
really is, and that it might require Arlupo to sacrifice all she's ever
known dear. Never has there been a truer, more gut-wrenching friendship.
More pain than can ever be imagined, and battles fit for any nightmare,
there is yet real life in being a faithwalker.no matter what.
