Street Vengeance (2008 release)
Eighteen-year-old Brandi Hutchinson may not have money or status, but
she’s definitely got potential—MBA potential. She’s smart, funny, focused,
and caring. But all that changes one night after a rap concert when the
L.A.P.D. beats her best friend Q, leaving him paralyzed. That night,
Brandi is filled with a vengeance that transforms her from a nice young
girl with a bright future into Los Angeles’s most wanted woman—and the
militant, insatiable leader of one of the fiercest female gangs in
history.
Fueled by rage, frustration, and bitterness, Brandi is soon
unrecognizable—even to Q, who is now helpless to stop the escalating
violence wrought by the girl he loves like a sister. Brandi’s intellect
and guts are still there, but she’s no longer willing to use her power for
good. Now it’s going to take one more tragedy, and a force greater than
she can imagine, to stop the war Brandi is fighting—within and without.

The Forgotten Spirit.
Award-winning gospel songwriter Evie Rhodes invites readers into the world
of a young girl who inspires everyone around her and reveals that the
spirit of Christmas can be found anywhere--if you just believe...
On the surface, Jamie Lynne Brooks looks like your ordinary nine-year-old
girl. She likes to skip, laugh, and play. But Jamie is far from ordinary.
She has been blessed with a magical gift--a gift that will transform
Jamie's world and all of the people in it this holiday season...
Although her loving grandparents have raised Jamie in a protective cocoon,
Jamie is wise to the harsh realities of the tough neighborhood she calls
home. And her mother's absence from her life has only made Jamie wiser
beyond her years. Yet she has managed to hold onto hope--hope for a better
life for her grandparents, hope that her mother will return someday, and
hope for anyone who's lost their way. After all, Christmas is a time for
miracles...
With its fresh, unforgettable heroine and the pure innocence that only a
child can give, The Forgotten Spirit is a remarkable novel of love, new
beginnings, and the amazing power of hope...
Criss Cross (2006)
Criss-Cross is a riveting tale of darkness, images
and deceit being played out at the highest levels. It is the story of the
mesmerizing Micah Jordan-Wells and his journey into an unfathomable
unknown world. A world that is controlled by the spirit of mystique and
artfully drawn prophecies that affects his very being. The plan - to upset
the balance and history of human life, as we know it. If it is to be
challenged or altered, it will require the denial of self and the courage
to enter into a realm where the rules are different, and where the
principalities of darkness reign.
Exactly how do you break a legend?
Micah Jordan-Wells is a celebrated high profile homicide detective in the
urban city of Newark, New Jersey. The story begins in the murky shadows of
the life of Evelyn Jordan-Wells. She is Micah Jordan-Well’s mother. She is
also a channel. She is the channel through which his birth has been
marked, making him the catalyst of a sinister, terrifying portal.
When that portal is activated Micah finds himself on the wrong side of the
most powerful killer who ever existed. There are none before him and none
after him. The catastrophic power creates a damaging portrait unleashing a
hatred that is malignant in its quest for power.
When Silky, Newark’s most notorious serial killer dies squealing like a
pig at the penalty phase of his trial, his death capitulates Micah into a
swirling descent and raises the stakes to a terrifying level. Micah is
accused of a murder he’s investigating. He receives a call from the dead
killer, Silky. Another victim is abducted. Then a startling vision of the
slain victims rocks his world, reversing the odds – rendering a horrific
verdict. The face he has been chasing is his own. Oh, and his woman has
slept with the enemy. Tick-tock. The clock is ticking, the time is running
out, and Criss-Cross is the owner of his world.
It’s a different world with different rules and the doctrine is not of
this world. Neither, is the dimension of Criss-Cross who is illusionary
and a power of great magnitude. Micah must not just capture another serial
killer. This is not another notch in his belt. And, hunting down a body
will not be enough. To win the game he must step in the heart of the
killing field, he must step into the recesses of a supreme mind and alter
that which is Criss-Cross. He must become what he’s not in order to be who
he is. Because, Criss-Cross has already drawn his mark.
Out "A" Order (2006)
An eight-year-old child is dead. A sniper’s
real motive is cloaked in secrecy. The father’s obsession with her
killer will destroy a family, defy police logic and make him Newark, New
Jersey’s most haunted man.
A game of Hide and Go Seek, one child and two young men shatter the realm,
penetrating darkness, as they become mere pawns of a generational hex.
The sniper moves into position. In the crosshairs of his weapon is
his target. He zooms in. The body drops. An unearthly
shrieking pierces the air. The trees shake with an unknown spirit.
The crime erupts in what appears to be street warfare. The father an
ex-convict vows to find the killer. He ventures forth with vengeance
raging in his heart and blood in his eyes. The murder is mired in
diabolical insanity coupled with a legendary curse that is far more
chilling than a street killing.
Faith is challenged, shattered and rebuilt. But most of all faith is
renowned.
The spirits are stirring. Good and evil are clashing. Only one woman’s
desire matters. Only one man’s bones are quaking from the
reprehensible evils of the past. Only one woman can foresee the
river of blood that will be spilt and staining the streets. And only one
child can stop that river from running.
Out “A” Order is about betrayal in its rawest form. It's about the
power of a father's love for his child. It's about tragedy.
But, most of all it's about malice and fear, penetrating and unrepentant,
of the darkest kind.
What happens when you unleash a moment of insanity? Your world
becomes, Out “A” Order.
Expired (2005)
Tracie Burlingame. They said her eyes were
synonymous with a chameleon. The birth of her sons was synonymous with
murder. Harlem. Harlem, New York. The city is a Mecca. It has long been a
breeding ground for some of the most astounding talent, the world has ever
seen. That was before. This is now.
When Tracie Burlingame becomes an unwitting pawn, drawn into a web of
deceit as thick as quicksand, spun by a deranged mind, she finds herself
sucked into a collage of insanity, and a world where nothing is as it
appears to be on the surface. She is drawn into a realm, where the talents
are being collected, starting with the youngest child she birthed, but the
path is strewn with unimaginable evil, and The Unholy has clamped its
sights firmly on Tracie Burlingame, pitting her between a psychopathic
serial murderer and something much, much worse.
While Tracie Burlingame struggles to keep her head above the muddied
waters, while she fights to keep her remaining sons alive, and while she
tries to stay one step ahead of the Harlem Police Precinct, she is
summoned by the countenance of THE UNSPOKEN and there she learns that in
order to win, she must choose a different weapon, a weapon that is foreign
to everything she has lived and stood for. She also learns that out of the
ashes of death arises great birth.
Standing in a melee of death and intrigue, “Expired” is one woman’s
journey. It is her struggle to rise above self, to rise above immeasurable
pain, and the brutal slaying of her sons. It is her yearning to tower over
madness, insanity and dementia not of this world. It is her endeavor to
outrun the haunting of her past, and to dodge the payment that is being
extracted in her present.
It is her plunging exploration of that which you do not see, and her
battle with an all consuming, encompassing darkness set in effect by a
territorial psychopathic killer as she learns, that death isn’t the worst
thing that can happen to you, and, that that which you do not see is
sometimes the most profound.
Expired is a voyage. It is a journey. It is the story of one woman’s pain
and every mother’s nightmare, and how when push comes to shove, sometimes
all a woman or a mother has, is her belief.
Expired is simply the end of all things. Or is it?
