"Jay Laird is the head writer at
Metaversal
Studios, a Boston-based company specializing in educational
games and children's animation. A screenwriter and comic book
author, his credits including the Roger Corman produced film The
Strangler’s Wife and Star Wars Tales from Dark Horse Comics. He
is a regular contributor of book and film reviews and features
to the EDGE network of web sites. He also writes for
PopImage.com. He has been teaching writing, programming,
animation, and game design at Northeastern University for the
last 8 years, and in his spare time he writes and edits software
training books for a variety of publishers. He lives in Boston
with his partner of four years and an adorable field mouse that
regularly scurries through their walls." --
