"My name is Eddie and Leo is my best friend. He asked if I would publish Journal 1 and I said sure. I don't mind helping Leo out. I didn't ask him why he held on to it for as long as he did. Leo's Journal is very personal and his sensitivity on the matter elicits much respect from me. There are a few things I ran by him so as to give you the reader (and friend he said) an understanding of what Leo is Journaling about. He agreed and the first is his love for Maria and hers for him. I will admit to being jealous in that I haven't been in love like those two. The second is a genuine candor in disclosing his mental illness and the several episodes in youth and adulthood that illustrate the incapacitation. The third is a friendship with Jesus Christ that has inspired such melancholy and despair. Leo is afraid his love of Jesus and His message may compel him to accept malcontent status because the lives around him are in such need of hope and little is to be found. What I like about the Journal is Leo's willingness to explore attitude and cherish the details of life encounters. He is a humble guy and I hope you think of him as a friend." Buy A Child's Tear.
