  The Appendixes are for the keenest fans of PRISM. Inside you will find specific references for the World of Zoheft, a listing of the major flora and fauna, as well as discourses on biology, religion, society, politics, government, grammar, and geography. There is also an overview of key events from Plaq-tî history.
  
  In this, the second volume of Appendixes, you can see the whole of the Plaq-tî native tongue as it stood at the time of printing. It would be unreasonable for a civilization to develop in a far off place, and expect that they would speak the same language as we do! So Plaq-tîq was born, the common tongue of the peoples of the Great Ride. Consider this book not as something to be read from cover to cover, but as a reference work, a dictionary to be precise. I hope it will add color and depth, and enhance your enjoyment of the world of the PRISM.
  
  Consider these Appendixes not as books to be read from cover to cover, but as an effort to answer some of the questions that readers of PRISM have asked me. I always enjoy hearing from my readers, who can contact me through my website.

PRISM - Two Shards (2008)
Here are two tales from the world of the PRISM. 'The Rescue' is the story of Tîro, a young man engaged with a secretive organisation supported by House Shenrî, with the aim of undermining the political machinations of House of Domzé. Domzé's influence has extended beyond their own province of Beletostî, and Tîro must deliver certain documents to agents in Shemthatilth province. However, at the Blue Crown Inn, he meets up with a mysterious stranger. 'Garrison' is the story of Ataqa, a recent addition to the armed forces of House Shenrî. His first posting takes him to the disputed territory of Iron Flats. With him are Hoop, another new young man to military life, and Van, an ageing veteran. Even before they reach the garrison they discover that a Garasentî raiding party is closing in.

The Cookie Tin (2008) (Free Download)
The Cookie Tin is a short SF story about Shelby, a young woman who receives an unexpected gift, a cookie tin, from an anonymous, unprepossessing man she meets at a diner. Who is he? What’s inside the tin, and why did the man specifically give it to her? Shelby returns to her apartment with the tin, and opens the lid. Inside she finds a note. It reads “Have you ever considered what it would be like for someone if they knew the way you feel?” She also finds a second box within the first. Should she open it?
