Brotherhood (2004) by Frank
McCourt, Rudy Giuliani, and Thomas Von Essen
On September 11, 2001, more than 300 three New York City
firefighters perished in the inferno and rubble of the World Trade Center.
Brotherhood offers a moving photographic testament to those brave
and honorable men, highlighting every engine, ladder and battalion that
lost a brother on that fateful, terrible day. Poignant and stirring
images, by Albert Watson, Mary Ellen Mark, Mark Seliger, Christian Wittkin,
Mark Borthwick, and more than 50 other New York photographers, depict the
places where those firefighters worked, the grieving survivors, and the
outpouring of gratitude and love from all over the world. Mayor Rudolph
Giuliani, Fire Chief Thomas Von Essen, and Pulitzer Prize-winning writer
Frank McCourt contribute their deeply felt reflections.
Leadership
(2003) by Ken Kurson and
Rudolph W. Giuliani
Rudolph W. Giuliani's management and decision-making skills have
proven to be outstanding through his years as U.S. district attorney and
his two terms as mayor of New York City. And on September 11th, 2001,
Giuliani emerged as America's steady hand. In this program, Rudolph
Giuliani shares with listeners the principles of leadership that guided
him then, and throughout his career. He talks about how he was able to
take control, show leadership, and make it clear to New Yorkers and the
world that under his stewardship, they were in safe hands.
The following movies are with or about Rudy Giuliani:
Giuliani Time (2006) by Kevin Keating,
Wayne Barrett, narrator.
DVD. One of the most talked-about and
controversial theatrical releases of 2006 was more than five years in the
making. Giuliani Time investigates the stories behind the
"new" New York City that Giuliani laid claim to. From "quality of life"
policing to welfare reform, and First Amendment related debacles, the
feelings about the Giuliani years largely depended on where you stood.
Giuliani Time is the story of the effect this former Reagan administration
official and high profile federal prosecutor had on what he called the
"Capital of the World." It is a wild ride of political ambition and public
amnesia, alternate realities, wars of perception and dramatic, even
cataclysmic, events.
