Susan Stinson has received awards, grants and support from the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation, Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, the Fund for Women Artists and the Massachusetts Cultural Council, among others. Her work was the subject of a documentary by Evie Leder, Gracious Flab/Gracious Bone, which has shown at the International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival in San Francisco. She lives in Northampton, MA, where she is at work on a new novel about the eighteenth century Puritan preacher, Jonathan Edwards. -- from Saints & Sinners
