Blood Is Thicker Than Water
(2002)
Amy Reilly is pretty sure a vampire attacked her in November. She just
doesn't know who saved her life that night or how. Her brother Paul got
the crap scared out of him in December by a couple of very predatory guys.
Jake Reilly is dying fast and facing the biggest decision of his life.
Sophia just wants to meet the mystery man from her dreams. Marcie Reilly
wants to have a healthy baby and understand why an ancient
Celtic goddess
has chosen her as a channeling conduit. At two thousand years old, Lorcan
just wants the other bloodsuckers to leave him and his alone. His fairy
godmother can stay out of their lives too. Alex is a vampire who truly
believes the Blood in his veins entitles him to everything he can lay his
hands on. His burned out thrall, Jessup, only wants to do one last thing
and then he's free of the whole lot of them.
Their lives are about to come together in an explosion that will leave
four of them married, three of them vampires, two of them thralls, two of
them dead, one baby, the living believing in reincarnation and the agendas
of ancient gods, the dead believing in the power of family, and a vampiric
feud on their collective hands.
All's fun in love and war.
Reader Advisory
This book contains the following
elements which may be considered unsuitable by some readers and literary
purists: violence, graphic sex, erotic blood sucking, foul language, gore,
angst, questions of morality, reincarnation, guns, S&M, family loyalty,
pop culture references, the promotion of anarchy, metaphors, wiccans,
druids, ancient
Celtic goddesses, undead politics and etiquette, thralls,
snappy banter and witty retorts, pregnancy & childbirth, bisexuality,
talking dogs, car wrecks, torture, romance, sibling rivalry, psychic
powers & scenery, and true love. And though promoted as a vampire novel,
it may or may not contain vampires within the parameters of any one
person's definition of the undead and/or bloodsucking leeches.
Pure pulp, read at your own risk.
Love & Benjamins (2003)
Men make you crazy. Women make you stupid. It's never about the Benjamins.
KGB operatives, Alexei, Travis, Vinnie and Donovan have scored the deal of a
lifetime and now they’re trying to retire from a business you just don’t
quit. Alexei has some issues with women, control, and having a job that
breeds cynicism even in the well-adjusted, which he isn’t. Travis is a poor
boy that wants the finer things in life, china, coordinated drapes, and
maybe a clean woman without any sexually transmitted diseases. Vinnie is
tired of playing double agent and living with the ghosts of his past.
Donovan wishes he could admit to himself that he just wants a drink.
They’ve paid off upper management and now they’re holed up on a tropical
island trying to complete one last mission and smoke out there opponent,
Jerry. He’s an ex-associate and a former CIA operative. He knows about the
score and wants it for himself. Jerry’s concocted a little government agenda
of his own in order to get the venture capital necessary to take Alexei and
his men down. He’s willing to destroy an island to do it. So are the boys.
Enter Toni, a burned out lounge singer who just wants to get away from it
all in every way possible. She just can’t imagine her life getting any
better, or worse. Minnesota, a girl with a taste for kinky sex who thinks
she’s working for the CIA. She’s too smart for her own good but not smart
enough to realize she’s being had. And Lindsey, a nice girl who just wants
to have a little fun while on assignment. A quickie romance with a
mysterious man sounds like the plot of one of her favorite espionage novels.
They all discover that there's no telling what one good woman can do, much
less three.
Brethren: Raised by Wolves, Volume 1 (2006)
--
Nominated 2006 Lambda Literary Award for Male Fiction
At last, a pirate romance that delves beyond 300 years of stereotypes and
romanticized notions to explore the lives, politics, and adventures of the
buccaneers of the West Indies in the 1660s. Brethren is the first book in
the Raised By Wolves trilogy: chronicling the story of one idealistic man’s
search for freedom and love, amidst a culture of inadvertent rebels
teetering on the brink of civilization.
The Life of Riley (Future release)
A single member of the Cwn Anwwn interrupts the
intrepid Reilly clan's recovery in Georgetown, leaving Lorcan near death and
the family scattered in three directions across the Colorado Rockies. They
all agree to meet up in Las Vegas, but of course when you're living the life
of a Reilly nothing is ever that simple. Join the gang as they battle
ancient vengeance spirits, fearless vampire hunters, werewolves, outmoded
values, ex-spouses and of course more stupid vampires with resources.
