  "Conviction Books seeks poetry that expands literary and political categories and/or challenges oppressive systems. We work from broad definitions of what to write politically means as often individual life stories defy these boundaries based on their existence."

• Vacancy: A Magazine of Spectral Murmurings
  "Vacancy considers most genres: horror, fantasy, science fiction, romance, mystery, western, historic, etc. Horror, however, is favored. Vacancy is not interested in excessive foul language, unrealistic gore, or erotica/smut. The only criterion is that your story be dark, haunting, perhaps even gothic."
