Laura Hunt is a photographer who has traveled around the world capturing images of people and their personal events. During the last decade, she has served as Production Assistant to Peter Turnley, contributing photographer to Newsweek; served as Production Assistant on the book/CD-ROM project Sierra Club: Material World: A Global Family Portrait (by Peter Menzel) and the book project Man Eating Bugs: The Art and Science of Eating Insects (by Peter Menzel); and had her work represented in the book, Mustard: Lessons from Old Souls (text by Carolynne Gamble, illustrations by Jessel Miller). Laura is presently working on the "Mexican Field Worker Project", s book documenting the labor of field workers in the Napa Valley wine industry.
Photography is the art of seeing and perceiving. I am a photographer, currently of weddings and events with some portraits here and there -- but almost always a photographer of people."
