| Brad Richard is the chair of
the Creative Writing program at Lusher Charter School in New
Orleans. The 2002 winner in poetry of the Poets Writers,
Inc., Writers Exchange Award, he is the author of Habitations
and the limited edition chapbook The Men in the Dark
(Lowlands Press, 2004). His poems have appeared recently in Hunger
Mountain Review, Prairie Schooner, Passages North, American
Letters & Commentary, and other journals. A recent poem, "The Raft
of the Medusa," is forthcoming from Literary Imagination and is
