Mardi Gras Mambo (2006)
-- Finalist 2006 Lambda Literary Award for Gay Men's Mystery)

Bradley is looking forward to relaxing with his friends, Frank and
Colin, and partying it up right. Nothing ever seems to work out the
way Scotty wants it to, however. Not only is it cold and rainy,
ruining his elaborate costume plans, but Frank, a former FBI agent,
has "issues" with the party plans - which include a delivery from
Scotty's dealer, Misha. After a night of partying, they come home to
find the cops waiting for them. Misha has apparently been murdered. It
turns out he was in trouble with a lot of people, including the
Russian mob.
Suddenly, Scotty is missing not just one but two boyfriends. He must
fight his way through a hot human frenzy of sequins, music, dancing,
and the sweat of thousands of revelers in a desperate race to save the
men he sometimes loves and keep this Mardi Gras from being the last
day any of them ever see.
